Willie Geist: “So as for the Durham report, 300 pages, four years investigating the investigators, one of the things that did come out of it was that procedures, regular FBI procedures, were ignored, that steps were missed along the way in this investigation.  In fact, Director Wray said, when the report came out, yeah, we acknowledged that a couple of years ago, and we’ve changed all that.  Those changes are already in place. Do you acknowledge perhaps that some mistakes were made along the way?”

James Comey: “Oh, definitely.  And they were found four years ago by the inspector general.  So there’s nothing new in this new document.”

Willie Geist: “What were some of those mistakes from your point of view?”

James Comey: “Oh, that the FBI didn’t communicate clearly the status of certain sources.  They didn’t double check certain information before putting it in a court application for foreign intelligence wiretap, and a bunch of others.”

Willie Geist: “And so do you believe now as these — some of these politicians call for defunding of the FBI that that has been corrected and that now the procedures are in place to avoid those kinds of mistakes in the future?”
James Comey: “I think so. But in complex investigations there’s always going to be mistakes.  It doesn’t mean the FBI is incompetent, honest and independent.”

Jonathan Lemire: “So, director, with some distance now, from your time there with that investigation and everything that came into that 2016 election, are there things that you wish you had done differently?”

James Comey: “Oh, plenty. I mean, plenty of small things. In the main I think the FBI did it in the right way during a very difficult time in 2016.”

Peer Reviewed Politics™ Commentary: Jamie Raskin could not be more wrong.  We thought that this guy is a lawyer?  Yale must be really disappointed in Jamie.  Anyhow, there is a simple document that Jamie Raskin could use to verify this, its's called the Constitution.  But in case Jamie Raskin doesn't know how to read that document, Jamie Raskin can do this simple test to figue this out.  First of all, can a sheriff deputize a citizen, Jamie Raskin?  That answer is yes in case you did not know.

So, if a sheriff can deputize a citizen, what makes you think that the Top Cop, Chief Law Enforcement, or Commander and Chief of the Military can't do this?  Yes, he can deputize citizens and he can make someone a general in the Military, if need be.  Is this common?  No, its not common to do this, but if there is an emergency or emergent need, the President has this power to do this.  Its really strange that Jamie Raskin would even say this considering he supposedly has law license and he is a representative of the people in the House of Represnetatives.

By the way Jamie, January 6 was not an insurrection, if it would have been an insurrection, you would not be in congress anymore.  Jamie Rasking needs to knock off the BS.

Chris Hayes: “I’m wondering, is there a surprise to you that the January six committee, and federal law enforcement is the tool disposal with different investigative methods?  The Department of Justice has cooperators, who will then give them things.  Are you still learning from the trial?”

RASKIN: “We are learning that stewart rhodes only defense, which is that he anticipated the insurrection act being invoked by the former president, has already collapsed.  They have, already, put on evidence demonstrating that he saw that as legal cover for what he was going to do, regardless, and he anticipated is far bloodier exercise without the thin veneer of this presidential  . The thing that was certain to begin with is instead of being charged with murder, he said, I thought I was going to be deputized by the sheriff, but I wasn’t.  In other words, I had no legal authority, but I thought I would.  That doesn’t help you.  In any of vent, the president does not have the authority to turn the Proud Boys, or the Oath Keepers, or any other private militia into an official state militia.  Those are organized by the states, the Constitution says officers are appointed by the state government, and they exist under the discipline created by Congress.  Is what I’m assuming, this Yale law school graduate understands makes no sense, but thought that he could throw some legal smoke screens up over what was, clearly, dangerous, insurrectionary activity.  This is a violent insurrection.”

Video: Stephen Colbert Misleads His Audience On Congressional Stop-Gap Funding Bill Calling It A FEMA Funding Bill and Claiming Rick Scott and 16 Other GOP Congress Members Voted Against FEMA Funding.

Peer Reviewed Politics™ Commentary: Stephen Colbert who hosts the Late Show misleads his audience by calling a Federal Stop-Gap Funding Bill which is use to keep the government open, a FEMA Federal Funding Bill for Hurricane Ian, which is untrue.  After telling the audience the fake news, the audience boo'ed 17 GOP members who voted no on another spending bill, which don't address actual hurricane relief thats needed for the State of Florida.

The Stop-Gap funding measure provides more than $12 billion for Ukraine to maintain its momentum in fending off Russian attacks, $1 billion in heating assistance for low-income families, $112 million for Federal Court security, $20 million for the water crisis in Jackson, MS., and billions in disaster aid.  Also in the bill is a five-year reauthorization of the user fee programs that fund much of the FDA’s work, in addition to extra flexibility for FEMA to spend more from the Disaster Relief Funds.  The fund currently has about $15 billion in it.  This Stop-Gap bill doesn’t specifically include or address funding for that storm’s recovery, so this is the reason why the 17 GOP members voted against the bill.  This why you don't get your news from a comedian.  There is no peer-review.

Gerald Malloy: If we go with the status quo we have $31 trillion of debt it is time for a change.  You mentioned it very negative perceptions and a lack of performance lack of access.  Career politicians are not willing to make that choice to get us back on track.

Steve Hilton: I have been reading your campaign materials positioning yourself as an outsider.  Like you defeated in the primary the establishment Republican.

Gerald Malloy: I love our state and country have served our country 42 years government industry and business, but I just want to get back on track running on my own merit people ask what will happen for the presidential race?  We will wait and see we have not even declared yet but the response has been great I’m very close in the recent poll which is very encouraging.

Newt Gingrich Well, I think you see both with Fetterman in Pennsylvania and Mandela Barnes in Wisconsin that the weight of their radical ideas is gradually killihg their campaigns.  The lead that Fetterman had when he was unknown people then realize a pro murderer he was, how pro-drug legalization he was, how much she was in fact a threat to the very safety of the community.  Member Philadelphia yesterday heather 1,000 carjacking of the year.  Setting an all-time record for the number of carjackings in Philadelphia.  Over 70% of the voters in Philadelphia, say that crime is the greatest concern that safety is our greatest concern.  That is a huge burden for Fetterman to begin to see it in the polls.  Wisconsin, once he got through the primary, Ron Johnson began to point out how really radical and pro-criminal how anti-victim Mandela Barnes was.  Barnes fell behind and I suspect that race may be a blow away by the time the done because Barnes is positions are so radical that he is in a sense so full of himself as a whole point up the way that he made fun of Steve Scalise.  These people are on the verge of being sick.  In the case of Fetterman, he got a tattoo that was either a reference to a song in favor of heroin use, or was attribute to the Crips, which was a Los Angeles based very violent gang.  Which actually was in Fetterman’s hometown, which worked with Fetterman in his election, so you look at that and think how much does the average Pennsylvanian want to have a pro-criminal, pro murderer candidate who is for also for much higher taxes, is against oil and gas is an industry.  And generally would represents virtually no value that exists in Pennsylvania.  In Wisconsin you have the same problem with Mandela Barnes and I think outside of maybe the Madison University of Wisconsin crowd, Barnes is gonna find that Wisconsin is a very tough state this year.

Rachel Campos-Duffy: Governor Gavin Newsom is outraged as they send one way to get out of their state putting the pressure on sanctuary cities.  One lieutenant Democrat is calling out her own party over the border.  She is joining us now she’s the former California state Senator Gloria it we also have with this one of our favorite guests Fox News contributor Leo.  Welcome Leo, welcome Gloria.  We’ll start with you Gloria on this topic of the governor sending the migrants for example to Martha’s Vineyard.  I think what I found interesting about your remarks, especially as a Democrat, is that your remarks highlight the elitism of it all, explain.

Gloria Romero: Absolutely. Think about the irony.  It is the beginning of Hispanic heritage month.  We are a lot more than a bunch of diverse breakfast tacos by the way.  So here we are facing a border that is not been secured for quite some time.  Over 2 million migrants coming through.  It took only 50 brown people showing up in one of the most exclusive democratic enclaves without leaf blowers and without mops for it to be declared a national emergency and to get that media focused on this.  It is absolutely hypocritical.  And maybe latinos like myself, we consider ourselves Democrats.  But we are completely disaffected, disenchanted with how we have been treated.  And how this issue is not been properly addressed by Democrat Party overall.

Rachel Campos-Duffy: There’s no question Martha’s Vineyard better prepared financially to handle the migrants than you’ve all day day.  In all these other working-class and poor towns that have had to bear the brunt of this.  And many other sounds also in California.  Leo I’m going to come to your coming to us from California.  Work governor says he wants to basically charge Governor DeSantis with kidnapping. What do you make of this as a lawyer and a californian?

Leo Terrell: Insulting.  And I’ll tie right now Governor Newsom is a very insecure governor.  Rachel, I live in the State of California the most incompetent governor in the country pray let me be very clear but he does not even know what kidnapping is.  Democrats have been flying at migrants all over this country for the last year end a half.  What he is trying to do, Rachel is kickstart his campaign for president.  He is trying to get a national profile.  There is no kidnapping here at all and he knows it is not a lawyer, he does not know it is talking about.  This is a double standard the Democrats have used over and over again.  They make the assumption they care about people that look like myself and Gloria.  But they don’t.  They use us for this whole argument of kidnapping is nothing more than a political stunt to kickstart his campaign for president.  He will never become president of this country.  This country does not want to turn into California, which is a disaster.

Rachel Campos-Duffy: Gloria, obviously leo brings up points about the governor but so interesting how liberals lap gent wrap all these up in compassion for that migrants being cooked alive in a bus.  We have trafficking.  Our own government is complicit in the trafficking as Leo brought up we did the last leg and these cartels now they want to get upset about some of them getting sent from states like Florida, which is a non- century states, over to states and cities that are supposedly sanctuary cities and states it.
